Collage is a wonderful, fun, spontaneous and forgiving art. Let your creative spirit soar by combing colors, words, and textures to learn a technique to express your unique voice. This class is suitable for all levels of experience. During the course of our workshop, I will demonstrate my technique of collage or “paper painting”. In the class, you will create an expressive painting of a heart on a canvas. Using words, colors and images, you will collage on to your painting to create your own unique conversation heart. All supplies are included. Participants are encouraged to bring poetry, letters, printed emails, children’s writing, love letters etc… along with any scrapbook papers to personalize their art.

Beth Watkins is a professional artist who focuses on painting and collage. She is a local art teacher with a BA in art and a MAT, and is also a Reiki energy healer.
